It's National Blood Donor Week! Canadian Blood Services recorded a significant drop in blood donations due to venue cancellations and other unforeseen issues brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The need for blood is rising fast as hospitals resume procedures that were put on hold due to COVID-19. Members of the Laurier and WLUSA community are invited to celebrate National Blood Donor Week, taking place from June 8 to 14, and World Blood Donor Day on June 14 by making a bloo...d donation.
