Based on recent trends and in alignment with the Town of Cobourg and the Cobourg Community Centres’ decision to remain closed until January 11, 2021 the WNGHA has decided to temporarily pause all hockey operations until the new year. This decision is based on overall community safety with the intent to further reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 within our community. https://wngha.ca/Articl/4698/COVID-19_Update_on_the_Season/
COVID-19 UPDATE: Please be advised that the Cobourg Community Centre has temporarily closed for the weekend due to user confirming close contact with an individ...ual who tested positive for COVID-19. To that extent the entire facility has been shut down and will be undergoing a deep and thorough clean as recommended by Public Health Ontario - Santé publique Ontario and our local health authority. It is with a heavy heart we share with you that we have lost a beloved member of our Wild hockey family, Tracy Kitchen. Tracy was a ray of sunshine - a skilled and fun-loving player on the Sr. C rep team and a First Shift volunteer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tracy’s family and friends at this sad time.
Happy #CanadaDay! Wishing everyone a safe and happy Canada Day from coast to coast to coast!
We wish Tracy Kitchen all the best as she toughs through her second battle with cancer. Tracy is a valuable member of the Wild Sr. C team and is a First Shift Volunteer. She also helped out with high school hockey (tryouts & indoor practices), is a member of our local Survivor Thrivers Dragon Boat team, and owns a local business, Taps & Corks on King, with her wife, Andee. She loves our organization and has worn her Wild baseball cap to all of her treatments. If you want to learn more about Tracy or want to make a donation to support her and her family, visit this GoFundMe link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/join-team-tracy039s-battle-again. Every little bit helps. #love #prayers #hockeyfamily #TKstrong
