Special thanks to all the event organisers that jumped every hoop, filled out copious forms and kept rolling out new ways to keep having fun and bringing joy, you are all amazing and it was an honour to serve you and deliver all your events to our wonderful community. Thank you North Island for supporting local businesses and for being good sports with tackling all the new learning curves this year.

Hey World.....I’ve been hearing in the news lately that Christmas will be different this year and admittedly it will be. No kids concerts, no dance recitals, no Christmas parties. The Grinch showed up early disguised as a virus. Well, as anyone knows who has seen that iconic cartoon you can’t stop Christmas from coming. It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes, or bags!" He puzzled and puzzed till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch t...hought of something he hadn't before. Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more! So this Christmas let’s show that Grinch! Let’s light up the town! Regardless of where you live, anywhere in the world. Put up some lights. If your in an apartment light up your balcony, if you own a business light it up. If your up the Meadows on a farm light up the barn. Decorate your house, yard whatever you have! Put them up early and leave them up later. We can go for a walk or a drive after dinner and see the bright lights of Christmas! See more
