I am so thankful for the privilege of having the last few months at home with my family. Thank you to all the people out there who made a difference, who worke...d the "frontlines" and helped keep our community safe. I hope that you continue to feel the love from all of us and that you will soon have a moment to breathe again. I know that these last few months were the hardest on you as you pushed through on days that felt impossible. Thank you to the businesses that pivoted and changed sometimes daily to meet new safety standards. Thank you to your employees who learned new skills and took on more responsibility in order to keep us all safe. As we begin to prepare to re-open, (after the green light from Public Health and Dr. Strang) I just want to take the time to publicly thank my community and acknowledge the sacrifices that you all have made to keep us safe.
