#MONDAYMOTIVATION The hardest change to make is shifting the mindset of: I HAVE to workout to... I WANT to workout - and that is what she accomplished in such a short time. Between being a full-time manager AND a full-time nursing student, she never let a busy day affect her performance. It is women like this, that I am so blessed to surround myself with. How can you not be inspired?

GO ON GIRL, SCARE THE WORLD! SHOW THEM EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE. I wish a diploma in fitness came with the perfect body, but really, its just a fucking piece of paper. As soon as I held that certificate I got an overwhelming feeling of stress and started telling myself: You’re a trainer. You’re an example. ... Your body needs to be your clients ideal body. You need abs. You need an ass the size of a Costco muffin. Don’t let anyone see you have a bad day. Trainers don’t have bad days. Well isn’t that a load of shit to tell yourself! Who can ever be their best self without flaws. You will always feel like a failure if you try to live up to something that doesn’t exist! Today I took a body composition report for myself. I set the camera up preparing to take the dreaded BEFORE PHOTOS... and I am pleasantly announcing that what I ended up taking were... HAPPY PHOTOS! There is no more before/after for me. This is me, and for this body I am so damn proud.

So who ate all the cookies?! THIS GIRL!! Why is it that Xmas treats are THE BEST TREATS! Thank goodness they aren’t around all year because I seem to have no self control when it comes to butter tarts! Remember: That extra weight gain - THATS YOUR LIFE! That’s your late night pizza with your man, that Sunday morning girl’s brunch, and your holiday festivities with the family! That extra weight is your favourite memories, your freedom, your life! ... The post holiday bloat might be here but it is not forever! Today was my first workout since December 20th. HOLY SHIT WAS THAT HARD! - But well worth it! Two days into the new year and right back on track. until the next holiday that is!

She has always been a front running MORNING WARRIOR in my group challenges, knowing it’s easier to just GET SHIT OUT OF THE WAY before any other chaos comes around. -And I’m talking EARLY - She finishes workouts before I even press BREW! OK! I always tell clients Do what you can. That advice doesn’t seem to phase her because she has always been dete...rmined to be the best version of herself for her kids. Clients set 3 goals at the start of each challenge. She only set 1 goal for the January Challenge: Just keep crushing it! - That's what I’m talking’ about! Age 44 3 KIDS STRONG AF!

Here we are, closing chapter 12 Page 365. - I like that I just made a book reference when there are individuals out there that know for a fact, I have not read 1 single book this year! Didn’t quite go through with that last resolution. But I did go through with changing my path. ... I am so proud to have the support system that pushed me to go for what I want, and the clients that have shown me I can do it. I am so proud to say that since the start of the year, WomanUp has grown by 318%!! I would like to thank all of my clients that took a chance on me and all that WomanUp has to offer. It is a fact that as much as my clients feel they need a Trainer, I need them right back. They have helped me get through many ruts and rough days this past year, without even knowing. Their efforts continue to inspire me to push harder in all aspects of my life and business. Without you ladies, I wouldn’t be the woman I am. I would like to raise a glass to my clients, and to 2020!

Girl you know this Negativity gets you know where and can quickly lead to a bad relationship with food. The holidays are what you have been training for! Stop doubting your decisions and enjoy time with friends & family! GUILT FREE HOLIDAY TIPS WORK & PLAY ON THE SAME DAY: There are 24 hours in a day! Aim for some morning movement to get you through the day before plans might change! Gym closed? Head outside! Your body burns extra calories trying to stay warm! DO NOT SKIP MEALS: Drop the belief you need to save up your calories for a holiday meal! Keep your eating habits as they have been with a healthy breakfast and nutrient rich foods throughout the day. DRINK WATER: Stay hydrated while keeping those unwanted maybe I’m just bored calories out!

There is no better feeling than watching someone achieve what you knew they were capable of the entire time. Danielle joined the #WOMANUPARMY in June and I am happy to say I haven’t been able to get rid of her since!! ... Seriously.. ok maybe this workout... no. ok maybe this one NOPE. She successfully crushed her first 4 week challenge and has continued to show up for each one since. TEALE! I am so excited to see a November challenge, I could cry!!!!! Danielle has been working full time, completing 3 Womanup workouts a week AND adding in numerous Oranj classes throughout the week. Her dedication has lead her to end summer with a total of 40 DOWN! I am truly blessed to be in a position where I am surrounded by women who continue to inspire me. It’s these types that are unstoppable. #STRONGWOMEN

We are officially 3 weeks into the November Knockout challenge and it is posts like these that have me smiling behind the computer screen. ... Two of these beauties crushed my September Re-Set challenge and have recruited other girlfriends to join them in doing so this month. They have all been completing daily calendar tasks on their own and meeting up weekly to crush their WomanUp workouts. The word group challenge can be intimidating and is often associated with comparing ourselves to others. But what if we dropped the group and added a community instead, because that is what these challenges are. They are a community of women adding value to your life and challenging you to be a better woman. I’m so thankful to have my #WOMANUPARMY of hard working women not only who believe in themselves, but believe in my guidance . You ladies remind me EVERY DAMN DAY that passion breaks boundaries.... I am extremely grateful to have a representation like this and to live in a community that is so passionate in helping Entrepreneurs of all kinds. Location: My house. Netflix night. (Just like every other night) The Scene: A bowl of Old Dutch popcorn twists and an ongoing internal monologue that goes something like this: Trainers don’t eat this crap." I can’t stop eating these. I can’t believe I’m still eating these. ... I’ve been eating these all week. I am weak. I am gross. Feel free to insert alcohol, bread, cookies, chocolate, candy, chips, or whatever might fit your own scenario. The underlining question is WHY ARE WE STRESSING?? Eating any wrong food isn’t merely unhealthyit’s considered a huge failure of willpower. When we categorize foods as good or bad, we’re really categorizing OURSELVES as good or bad, strong or weak, worthy or unworthy. Most of us are not going to stop eating the wrong foodsnor should we. If you have ever experienced a cheat meal soon turn into a cheat week, know you are not alone. Before telling yourself I need to go on a cleanse.. tell yourself to DROP THE GUILT. Whether it be a bad day or a bad week, it’s not the end of the world. A couple highly processed meals are not going to make you jump a pant size just as a couple salads aren’t going to make you go down a size. Solution: GET BACK ON TRACK. Grab your water, grab your workout, and get back into your routine. And remember: Cookies are not earned, they are required.

___PAUSE FOR REACTION___ It has been almost 1 year since this girl showed up. I met her early morning for a 1 on 1 session to help get her started into a solid gym routine. I remember thinking, "whatever this girl has, I need some of it!" I could tell just by that 1 hour that she was on a mission and nobody was to get in her way. ... Fast forward 11 months.... #JAWDROP Taelor has successfully completed 4 challenges staying consistent from the start of the year until now. I love running into her at the gym, headphones in and WomanUp workout in hand! In the midst of a shit year, Taelor has proven to herself that no matter what life throws her way, she is the one in the driver seat. I can't wait to see where she goes next! Taelor, my girl YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING!

This little lady .... over 2 years ago my mom was completely transformed. She successfully completed 12 weeks of training and was in a good space mentally and physically. Soon after our family suffered many losses. My mom lost her two closest sisters and mother back to back. Consumed by grief her days were hard. Although the pain is still there, she in my eyes has overcome the greatest hardship and I can say proudly that she is one of the strongest women I know. It is now her... time to once again strive to be the best version of herself. She has always been one of my greatest cheerleaders and it is now my time to back her up. I can’t wait to watch her grow throughout this challenge. - - - I am truly blessed to be in a position where I am surrounded by women who refuse to give up. We all face countless struggles in this life we live, but it is our choice to rise above and to become stronger because of it. #strongwomen #strength #mentalhealth

( 1 in 5 ) I'm writing this for me and for the women who have ever felt alone. Not alone because you don't have anyone. But alone in your feelings. Not because no one has ever felt this before, but because you can't explain the way you feel. Feelings change rapidly. Grief is so weird. It's like a heavy cloud you can't find your way out of no matter how many hands are reaching out to help you. If my life went the way I wanted in November, I would currently have a newborn in ...my arms. I would be listening to my mother's wisdom and scheduling future playdates with my sisters. However, life never seems to go the way we want it to, but that doesn't mean there isn't a great life to live. Infertility breaks us down little by little, month by month, negative stick by negative stick. Until one day we lose sight of who we are and we find ourselves measuring our worth based on the results of a 3-minute test. We see NOT PREGNANT or we see PREGNANT until something takes it away. As soon as those results appear our inner voice begins to say: "You're broken." "You're weak." "You're unworthy." "You're forgotten." LIES. FUCKING LIES. Our identity and our worth are not found in the results of a pee stick. Again: Our identity and our worth ARE NOT FOUND IN THE RESULTS OF A PEE STICK. I have shared my struggles, insecurities, and successes through social media. Although it isn't for everyone, it has allowed me to stay hopeful, keep smiling, and know that I am not alone in this. To the ladies who didn't get the results, they wanted this month: I see you. I see your pain. You are not alone. - - You are strong. You are capable. You are worthy. You are enough. **Wherever my road takes me , I’ll be over here rocking the dog Mom & Aunt life until I get where I’m meant to be.

5 years ago this is what my diet looked like. Bags on bags on bags of greens and plain chicken. 1 C egg whites Protein shake 7oz of chicken... 2 cups broccoli and asparagus x6 times a day!!! I remember rolling into work and eating my first dose of chicken by 9am getting strange looks. I committed to this diet to see if I was the type of girl that could one day step on a stage and show what I got. 4 weeks later I realized that life was not for me. I’ve preached this before and I will time and time again. It is crazy how we think we need to go to these types of extremes to become happy in our own skin. This was the diet that was going to get me to the weight I desired so badly. Soon after I found it did the complete opposite. I became impatient, snappy, foggy in the head, and emotional at the flip of a switch. I would catch myself becoming more and more disappointed with myself and my body and putting on a happy face in pictures. I’m also not ashamed to say I started researching steroids. After having a mental breakdown that I will never forget it was at that time I new I had an eating disorder and needed help. TODAY I AM 89 lbs HEAVIER!!! 89!!!! You think that number would stress me out but I am finally proud to live in this body. To all the ladies out there that struggle to find a healthy relationship with food, I get you! My hope for all of you is to find that balance and give yourself the break you deserve. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and true confidence is without a doubt the hardest feeling to reach. Much love to all the beautiful bodies out there. On the hard days remember to DROP THE DOUBT AND WOMANUP!
