Women For Music 18.11.2020

Great News - we are holding a General Meeting on Thursday November 5th. It will take place in the Lillian Piercy concert Hall, Maritime Conservatory from 1 to 3m. COVID19 protocols will be followed. We will be entertained by a string quartet made up of following SNS players:- Charna Matsuchige and Ken Nogami, violins Binnie Brennan, viola Ben Marmen, cello Following there will be a short business meeting but no tea and treats as per COVID protocols.

Scenes from our socially-distanced general meeting held in the beautiful Saint George's Round Church today. Garth MacPhee treated us to a wonderful recital of German Baroque music. At the end of the meeting Shirley Dean presented a Honourary Membership the Barbara Webber, a long-time and very active member of our society.

We are happy to announce that we have organized a socially distanced, safe General Meeting Date: Thursday September 3rd 1 to 3pm Location: Saint George’s Round Church corner of Brunswick and Cornwallis Street Guest: Garth MacPhee, Music Director, Saint George’s Round Church, Garth will talk about North German Baroque music and play examples for us on the organ Covid19 Safety Measures:... - Wearing a mask - you enter by the ramp at the side door (right of the altar) off the parking lot. Note: parking is limited so please share rides - Ensure that your name is checked off we must have a list of attendees, name tags will NOT be used - Hand Sanitizer will be provided - Proceed to the pews which are marked off appropriately for distancing - people can share a pew with friends they travel with etc. - The exit is via the Vestry to the left of the altar See more
