Let Every Day Be Mothers Day Congratulations are due as the world basks in the glow of Sunday’s Mother’s Day celebrations. Today, as everyone recount their individual highlights, there will be so much to say in homes, offices, schools and other gathering places.... Throughout history, homes and communities have been sustained by mothers, grandmothers, mothers in law, adopted mothers, foster mothers, stepmothers, Single Mothers, as well as women who have raised other people’s children even though they have never been through childbirth. Regardless of the category into which each woman falls, being a mother in today’s upside-down world is not only challenging, it is a task that should be supported on a daily basis, because every mother’s job defies an appropriate definition. I urge you to transfer some of the Mother’s Day fervor during the days ahead and to say a special prayer for Single mothers who have an even more momentous task of preparing children in a world where the Internet is the great influencer. Today, February 14th is Valentine's Day..a day to focus on love of self and love of others. This is a time when I think of the many Single mothers who might not be as happy as others who are being wined and dined by lovers and husbands. It is a time when they would welcome a call from friends and relatives. A time to say., Happy Valentine's Day. God loves you and your children. Happy Valentine's Day , everyone.
