International Day of Nonviolence! Say No to Violence! I think it's safe to say we have all experienced violence in our life. Domestic violence, child abuse, violent movies and TV shows and of course on the news. I don't watch TV for this very reason. Gave up the news over 20 years ago. This allows me to be open to all possibilities and not be influenced by the common narrative that is designed to influence and manipulate the population to behave in certain ways.... Being constantly exposed to violence on TV and in video games desensitizes the brain to violence. It becomes the norm. Our children grow up watching hours and hours of TV everyday. The first seven years of a child's life their brain is in constant Alpha. It's when all the belief systems are being programmed into the subconscious mind and THAT is what will be driving the us for the rest of our lives. We live unconsciously, on auto-pilot.
