I usually don't post work in progress shots but I'm really excited about this killa front piece I'm doing on my son Cameron. It's always a lot of pressure when you are tattooing your family especially your kids. I like the fact that they will always have a piece of me with them wherever life might take them. It's funny how quick the years seem to have flown by, when I was his age I was a new father and learning to tattoo and and most days I still feel like I have so more more to learn as both a father and a tattoo artist. This was a really fun half sleeve to do, I dont get to do portraits very often and it can be pretty challenging but I'm super happy with how these ones turned out. This tattoo is a tribute to a clients grand father, and father. They are 3 generations of plumbers and the piece was meant to show the passage of time, from old school to modern times.
