Wood Re-Creations and Originals

I know its a week late, but Happy New Year to all our followers! I've always been my worst critic when it comes to my work. We refinish everything to the best quality and standards we can get. I won't let anything go out the door unless it is in a state that I would have it in my own home. We in fact have kept many pieces for ourselves, after staging them for photos. This week I had a real eye opener. I saw several items done by another well known company who charges much MUCH more than I. If I ever had any doubts about my finished products, they were squashed. Thanks to everyone who keeps me going and follows our page!

Here's the finished customer mission table! I disassembled it as much as possible and the results are spot on! This was a joy to refinish. Old and tiger oak. Great combination.

This was brought to me a week ago to see if it could be resusitated. The blue-ish paint over white paint, on top of the original finish was a multi layered conglomeration of disaster. Nothing a sander and Jacobean stain can't fix! Topped off on a lightly distressed base. Firewood no more!

As the wind whistles at the back door and we approach Christmas, I started another project today for a loyal customer. This solid harvest table doesn't know what it's up against. The top was bowed like a skateboard. So I added some bracing underneath and will be adding more. It is 10x straighter already! The honey oak top is now nothing but a memory, as is the mangled top finish from a hungry dog. This one isn't one to miss! Next time you see it, it will not look like this.
