Greeting ICTF members, As martial artists we are all familiar with the concept of loss. Each time we step into competition one person invariably experience the pain and anguish of loss. We do not question the fairness of it. Rather, we pick ourselves up, deal with the pain and try to learn something from the experience. We persevere. This 2020 pandemic year has indeed been a challenge for all of us. Some have lost their clubs and students. Others have lost their employm...ent and livelihood. Some have lost their homes. We do not question the fairness of it. We persevere. On a personal note some of us have lost friends and beloved members of our families. We do not question the fairness of it. We persevere. We do not focus on the loss. We pick ourselves up, deal with the pain and anguish and try to learn something from the experience. Amidst the losses this year, the ICTF has gained new National and International members including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Germany, USA, Ethiopia, Argentina, Africa, UK and Canada. We welcome them into our ever growing family. We have acknowledged members whose unwavering loyalty and commitment spans decades. We have created an ICTF Grandmasters Advisory Committee made up of senior members whose mandate it is to offer wisdom, experience and guidance on issues pertaining to the ICTF. We are finalizing the creation of an ICTF Self-Defence Committee. Also GM KJN Cariati has created a personal advisor committee for the day to day operation of the ICTF and looking after my well being. We will continue to grow and we need to make sure that we will look after each other. To be sure 2021 will have its own new challenges but we shall meet those challenges with continued strength, courage, integrity, perseverance and yes, indomitable spirit. In closing I would like to extend my wishes for a safe and healthy holiday season for you and your families and may 2021 bring us prosperity and happiness.
