Put a little time on the mill today. I have had this HM126 for about three years and I can say it’s an Awesome piece of equipment. I have used five blades from another company and wasn’t impressed. I throw on a good old Woodland mills blade and bam there’s dust being made with ease. I have had to change my drive belt once and the blades guide bearings once other than that this thing seems to be bullet proof. Maxing out the mill today on this big lump of Ash We milled 6 logs, all of which were put aside for biomass by the neighbouring farm until the customer decided to save them and get them cut for his barn conversion.... Wade and his wife are building a 32 x40 cabin.... here is an update. We've tinned the roof a few days ago. Basement is all insulated to get the heat in the basement, then close it down till spring. I had a bunch of blue stained lodge pole logs I cut into boards with my HM126 and ended up building cabinets for a friends kitchen and making a dresser and two night stands for us. The matching headboard and bed base with drawers is in the works. I tried to get a "rustic" look by sanding the individual boards cross grain with 60 grit sand paper on a belt sander.
