"What is the WTA," you may be asking. Our main goal is to exchange experiences and skills between members and industries. We strive to improve the quality, preparation, and presentation of woodland training materials. It's important that we initiate and maintain close liaison between industry and government partners. Lastly, we provide a safety net for industry members. Pretty much you need to know that we are here to provide excellent resources and training for safety pra...ctices between the forestry industry, oil and gas, and the like. With the cold weather finally here, it is important to keep an eye out for vulnerable community members. If you see anyone stuck out in the cold: elderly, homeless, etc. then please reach out to 211 for assistance. They offer effective, timely and appropriate information and referrals to community resources.
