Another Productive day of milling. Almost flawless.

Had a great day Milling Yesterday afternoon. Cut up some cedar, black walnut, ash, and red oak. But this puppy despite getting on the mill had to come back off as there was no way to even start cutting it. 29-34 diameter depending on how you measured. Mill is rated for 24 but I have done 28 and made it work but this one was odd shaped and we could even make one cut.

Another drive way/ parking lot finished. Here is a video of my home made leveller bar in action. I dump piles all around where I think I need more fill and the ...bar does a quick job of making it quite level so I don’t bounce around on the tractor. As you can see it’s pretty efficient, more so than the box scraper, as it usually wants to pull a lot of material. In tight quarters it’s all a challenge but it came out good. Another job cutting some wood for a customer. Beautiful day yesterday and no wind. A full day of black walnut logs to lumber. This video shows cutting 2 slabs and looks to be fairly slow. It is pretty slow but remember this is 16 wide of solid black walnut I’m cutting through. That’s a lot of sawdust to move out of the cut. My Wood-Mizer Lt 10 with many upgrades is working like a charm these days. Remember folks if you have a tree cut down we come to you and turn your logs into valuable lumber. It can be air dried after it’s cut for rough projects or taken to a kiln for further processing and be used for fine furniture.
