Trail Report ; We've been grooming some over the past few days! The town loop was done yesterday, but has minimal snow cover. Both groomers were out today, and trail 12 from Deerville to Scott's Siding are done. Please remember that conditions aren't the best yet, so ride accordingly!
Today we groomed trail 441 aka the town loop . Low snow in the fields so travel with caution
Here is a terrible picture from a club in Quebec. This is why we need the cold of winter to freeze up . Please take caution on any ice , make sure its good to cross , nothing is frozen in our area.. ride to arrive !!
Bernie , you get off that blade .. we got work to do !!
Attention All Sledders
Please keep to the rules and regulations when stopping in your bubble. Only stop when needed , you must still wear a mask , no groups from others bubbles. We all know this season will be like no other but if not followed they will close our trails ..
Trail Report; People may notice on the NBFSC interactive map, that trail 44 from Woodstock towards Nackawick is showing green. It is NOT groomed. We had the Tucker out there today packing trails and moving blow downs, so it is showing on the GPS as though it's been groomed. At this point nothing locally is groomed, but we're ready as soon as we get snow!

Under NB’s Recovery Plan posted Jan 5th, 2021 the Orange Level, Outdoor recreational activities are allowed, including snowmobile trails. Covid-19 / Orange Level Communication for Clubs / Jan 6th, 2021... With the Province making the decision to place all NB Health Zones into the orange level of Covid-19 regulations this will have some immediate impact on the NBFSC, your Member Clubs, volunteers and staff. Here are the changes we are making immediately; 1. Staff will not be travelling to any meetings or scheduled events or work planned events; i.e. Club’s Trail Checks one example only. 2. All staff work plans and NBFSC Events, i.e. Grey Rock Power Center President’s Ride of January 28th, 29th, 30th, 2021 are on hold only or postponed. (We will attempt to deliver everything we have planned for within the regulations). 3. All NBFSC Events are being assessed and Board of Directors may be asked to make decisions about cancelling events, i.e. NBFSC Tourism Weekend of February 12th, 13th & 14th, 2021. All NBFSC Trails are open none are closed by the Covid-19 Orange Level regulations. / Previous exceptions still apply. Under NB’s Recovery Plan posted Jan 5th, 2021 the Orange Level, Outdoor recreational activities are allowed, including snowmobile trails. Trust this information assists as we all adjust. Here is what we all will be dealing with on most the trails in the wooded areas .. so if you get a chance, grab a saw and cut away ... we can't groom trees...
We would like to thank every person that is out cutting trails open .. without you we couldn't move forward !! This shows what our community means !!
This is trail 12 south the Canterbury. This trail is now opened back up from Woodstock to Debec... thks Norm !!
So after working the past month to get trails open, this is what happened after last weeks heavy snow! It’s not bad around town and these photos are on the rail line to Canterbury. If anyone has the time and a chainsaw, any help would be appreciated!! Norm has the trail cleared from town to the Cosman road, but could use a hand!
What an amazing group of volunteers we have in our club! Thanks for all you do! There has been trail maintenance being done on a daily basis for the past month. Here are a few pictures of this weeks work!
