Getting ready to dive into a new year...goals have been made, and plans of how to bring them into fruition are being cultivated. With all the unknown that awaits in 2021, I tread carefully desiring more wisdom and also complete fearlessness at whatever awaits. My desire is to completely surrender to the truth, I am not in control, but someone much greater and wiser is...and I trust Him. I couldn’t sleep tonight and came downsta...irs to quietly dump my heart and heaviness before God. Once again I find myself pondering upon the truth of this sign...it looks so beautiful in this dark room lit up by only a few sparkling Christmas lights and it reminds me of another question to ask God. As I release my thoughts and prayers over to Him I know He see’s me for who He really created me to be...not my short comings, and failures. He knows my fears that rob the sparkle of who I truly am and I know tonight He invites me to hand them all over so that I can truly shine and be the light of the world once again. He invites you to do this too. I welcome you into this personal place, these thoughts that are beyond Woodsy, but completely intertwined as well because Woodsy is a creative extension of myself and my love for family, home-life, and making. I want to vulnerably say I am praying for us tonight for everyone of you that this reaches and beyond, that this coming year, in your home-life, in your families, in your places of trepidation & anticipation that you are met with great love & peace. As I look to approach this coming year with gratitude, I am thankful to God for people, created in His image...people. You, my friend, my family, I may not even know you personally yet, I’m thankful for you and what your life, if well lived can bring this coming year, may you live it well and fully.
