Taken in Charles B Hill Park in Hillview. Seen eyeing up a dog on a leash. Be aware that they are in the area. Or rather throughout the area especially in Mill Creek.

If anyone has questions about the red signs going up at bus stops saying closing soon the city is revamping routes. This was supposed to happen in the summer but due to Covid has been pushed back to April 2021. Right now they’re just trying to get ahead of the changes and inform people that the routes will be changing. You will be able to contact 311 starting in January to get more up-to-date information about the new routes.

Do you have a problem property in your area. The City has an online form for identifying and reporting a problem. The Problem Properties Initiative focuses on improving community safety and livability, by coordinating the efforts of municipal and provincial agencies involved in licensing, regulation and enforcement concerns related to problem properties. https://www.edmonton.ca/resi/report-a-problem-property.aspx

Several individuals have reached out to express their interest in supporting each other within the community during this trying time. We expect that some of our residents have self-isolated or are quarantined and may require support. For individuals who would like to offer support to others who are self-isolated or quarantined, we certainly encourage that residents check in with your neighbors, particularly those who are vulnerable or have mobility issues, however, please follow safe practices and guidelines for interaction to avoid spreading illness. If you need help or you would like to be added to a list of volunteers willing to help, please contact Margaret, our facility manager at (780) 462-2101 Ext. 1 and leave a message. Your call will be returned. You can also send us an email at [email protected]. Seniors seeking support can also contact the Millwoods Senior Association at (780) 496-2997. STAYING CONNECTED WCL is exploring options for safe ways to get out (or stay in) and stay connected while adhering to social distancing principles like ravine walks. Let us know if there is something you would like to do or share with the community during this time. The League is following the information provided by various federal and provincial health agencies and all levels of government and is committed to implementing appropriate measures as new information emerges. Keep checking our website at http://www.woodvale.org with our new COVID-19 links and our Woodvale Community League Facebook page for the latest information.
