All Shaman are Shifty, it's part of the deal. They have to place themselves at risk, be outcasts, live on the peripheries... I recently collaborated with Artist... Christopher James Boux to produce some portraits of him with his piece "Shifting Shaman" Here are his thoughts on the subject; "It feels like as a visionary, I’m in constant self work mode to know and release locked emotional trauma of the wounded healer within, alchemizing with Mother Earth and father sky, thus becoming the potential of medicine for others. Shifting shaman shows me the wisdom to listen to life, and not just human life, when in the process of healing trauma. leading me on the hopeful, and most challenging path of eldership rather than the current ‘oldership’ paradigm I feel our western culture is shedding. If you can spend time with loved ones today or have a conversation of heart with a stranger in the real world, heck, maybe it’s even someone older or younger than you! do yourself a favour, give social media a break and get to the real connections that will guide you on your path and keep you from going astray.
