Woof! Dog Grooming Studio 15.02.2021

Only a few months old, this was Lexie's first visit to a groomer. She was in for a Bath & Tidy and wasn't the least bit shy when it came to getting a few little treats. See you again soon Lexie :-)

This hamdsome guy is Gilbert. He's only a few months old, and this was his first visit. He's full of life, and loves the treats...I think he could smell them the minute he walked in the door...lol. Good to meet you, Gilbert! :-)

Buddy's mama told me he doesn't like "doggie" treats, and she was right. When the time came, I ran in the house and found a few little pieces of chicken ;-)

Sweet little Lucy has been dropping by every so often for a nail trim ever since i opened my shop. On this particular day, however, she decided she wanted a Bath & Tidy, so that's what she got. I am absolutely thrilled because in all these years, this is the very first time she's EVER made an appearance on my page. :-D ....she certainly deserved a treat, but I think she was a little too anxious to get going...lol. Say hello to Lucy...make her feel welcome :-)

To my customers, As per the protocols recommended and being enforced by the province, I've conducted a list of "new normal" guidelines I will be following until further notice. I ask that everyone please abide by these simple social distancing guidelines so I don't get in trouble, and so you don't get yourself in trouble either (it's my understanding that, not only can we both be fined, but also that the fines can be hefty). 1. For the time being, I am NOT allowed to let ...people come into my shop. When you arrive, please have your dog on a leash. You will see a hook beside the door...below the mailbox and to the left (refer to the pic below). I ask that you put the leash on the hook, and I will go out to get the dog once you're down off the step. I know that sounds awful, but don't worry, I will be watching for you. It's not as though you'll be putting your dog on the hook and just leaving him there :-) 2. Only ONE person drop off the dog. When the groom is complete, that SAME person should be the one picking the dog up again. The above process of dropping off your dog will be reversed...once you arrive, I will put your dog out on the step with the leash on the hook. 3. If you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you've had any contact with anyone diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus, please arrange for someone else to bring your dog for its groom, or call me to arrange an appointment for a later date & time. 778-1997. 4. On the inside, it will be business as usual, but I will be taking extra measures to help ensure that WOOF! Dog Grooming Studio does NOT become the source of an outbreak...God forbid! lol When necessary, I will be wearing a mask, and I will be using sanitizer and wipes to disinfect everything between each customer. 5. Please do not show up any earlier than 5 or 6 minutes before your appointment time, unless arrangements are made ahead of time. 6. PAYMENT - As you all know, I don't have a debit machine. I'll still be accepting cash for payment, but I ask that you put it in my mailbox (not in an envelope). I'll retrieve it and wipe it down inside. PLEASE NOTE: All current appointments are tentative at this point. With a couple of new cases reported in the last few days, anything can happen. Know that if the numbers start to increase again, I may have to close up shop again. If that's the case, I will let you all know here on my page, or by phone. Once again, I thank you all for your patience, understanding and cooperation during this crazy time. These guidelines are mandatory, unfortunately, and anyone who chooses to take them casually will have to wait until all provincial social distancing restrictions are lifted completely before they can get an appointment. Lastly, I hope your furry friends are as excited about seeing me again, as I am about seeing them again! Thank you, and see you all soon! :D

This shy and gentle little fella is Cooper. I tried to convince im to take a treat, but he became too distracted by the sounds of cars going by outside...surely, he was thinking one of them was his grandma arriving to pick him up. :D

Hi All, ...just a reminder that I am now accepting a (limited) number of short haired breeds (large or small) that require a *Bath & Tidy* only....Labs, Retrievers, Beagles, Pugs, Shepherds, Boxers, Chihuahuas etc. or any short haired mixed breeds. The Bath & Tidy service does NOT include an actual full haircut. A Bath & Tidy includes:... - nail trim and removal of hair between pads, if any - ear cleaning - removal of thick undercoat, if any - bath - blow-dry - tidy up around the eyes/face area, if necessary - tidy up the scraggly areas (bum and back leg area) so your dog will look/feel/smell great when he walks out the door. Note: I am not able to accommodate dogs that are excessively overweight. Sorry. Note #2: To my current customers, this does not affect the services I have been providing for you...we're good...lol. If you have any questions, or would like to set up an appointment, please give me a call at 778-1997. Thank you, Brent

Meet Jaxx. The most difficult part of grooming this handsome fella was to keep from being licked to death...HA! What a happy and playful dog, he is! When it came time for his treat, however, it was very serious business, as you'll see...lol

My heart is breaking for Kandy and her family. Kandy died tragically earlier today :-( She was full of life & energy, and always kept me on my toes when she came for her visits. I will miss her, and I know her mom and family will miss her dearly. RIP little one. :(

Woof! Dog Grooming Studio 19.08.2019

Hi everyone, ...just an update to inform you that WOOF! Dog Grooming Studio will reopen on May 11th, but keep in mind that social distance measures will still be observed. Also keep in mind that although the numbers regarding the amount of Covid-19 cases in Miramichi and around the province are very promising, my opening date may change if those statistics take a drastic turn upward...we all know how fast this entire situation can change. For the past couple of days, I hav...e been reorganizing all my appointments in an attempt to accommodate customers whose appointments I've had to cancel over the past few weeks, and still keep up with those who have appointments made for the entire year. To the best of my ability, I am trying to get everyone re-scheduled in the order they were originally booked so it's fair for everybody, and also, in a way that I'm not completely swamped...lol. I have already begun contacting some customers, but... ...to customers whose appointments were cancelled.... I will be contacting you over the next few days to re-book and confirm your appointments. I am projecting that I will be able to fit most of you in within two to three weeks after reopening. To customers who have outstanding appointments.... for the most part, your appointments will remain where they are, but given the circumstances, there are a few I've had to alter slightly in order to fit everyone in so I will be contacting those people as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your patience and understanding!! I look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay safe!
