Dr Ruparelia and staff have been so happy to see so many of you for regular recare and treatment appointments since our reopening. If your appointment was cancelled during the Covid-19 shutdown please call/text us and we will be happy to reschedule it for you.

Please be assured the health and safety of our clients are the upmost concern at Woolwich Dental Group. We have implemented all the Public Health Ontario, RCDSO and CDHO protocols and procedures here are a few of those changes.... 1/All clients are pre screened the day prior and the day of any appointment by asking a series of questions recommended by Public Health Ontario, and at the time of arrival temperatures are taken and recorded. 2/All staff are screened twice a day ...and temperatures are taken and recorded. 3/NO clients are allowed to wait in the waiting area, NO entrance is allowed into the office by anyone other than clients with booked appointments. Waiting is done in your car (or outside) and we will advise you when to come in as we can only allow one client in at a time (or family members with appointments at the same time).If you wish to make a payment etc please call the office to make arrangements and please call or email to book appointments. 4/No additional family members/care givers are allowed to accompany clients into the office or waiting area unless discussed and pre arranged with the office. 5/Staff are wearing N95 masks covered with a Level 3 masks,face shields, gowns and head coverings when aerosols are produced and all PPE is changed after each client. 6/After aerosol production treatment room is left empty (after staff and client have exited) for 15 minutes to allow settling and air exchange. 5 filter air purifiers are in each treatment room and doors have been added which allows our down time to be 15 minutes only. We are happy to announce Woolwich Dental Office will reopen at 8 a m on Monday June 1 2020. During the last several weeks Dr Ruparelia and staff have been busy making the necessary changes,as instructed by Public Health Ontario and the RCDSO, to ensure our office is a safe and healthy enviroment for our clients and staff. Currently no preventitive treatment is being performed by the hygienists but we hope that the restrictions will be lifted soon. Dr Ruparelia and staff at Woolwich Dental Group hope that you are all staying well during these unprecedented times. Our office remains closed until The Ministry of Health and the RCDSO instructs us of the guidelines and timeline for a safe reopening. During these unusual times of Social Distancing and Staying home it is important to not only take care of your general health but also your Oral Health. Brushing at least 2 x a day and flossing or using a water flosser 1 x a day are very important on a regular basis but currently when regular dental care is unavailable it is extremely important. On Sunday March 15 2020 The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and The Minstry of Health made a recommendation that all dental offices in Ontario close until April 2020, except for treatment of dental emergencies. This recommendation is to help prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus and to help protect the public. Dr Ruparelia and team will be following the Ontario recommendation and are closing our office immediately. If you have an appointment in the next couple of weeks we will be contacting you to reschedule. If you are experiencing a dental emergency please call the office for further instruction.
