Are you an employer seeking training funds to support persons with disabilities to achieve career goals on your team? Funding is available for skills training projects through the Persons with Disabilities Training Stream. Training can lead to better job opportunities including full time employment, higher pay or job security. The province of B.C. will fund 100% of eligible training costs and other supports to a maximum of $20,000 per employee, per fiscal year. Eligible costs include: training costs (tuition fees, textbooks, software and other required materials) and participant supports (childcare, transportation and accommodation). The new Work Experience Opportunities Grant supports an inclusive economic recovery by helping non-profit organizations provide skill-building opportunities for British Columbians with disabilities and those facing barriers to employment. Organizations can apply for up to $5,000 per participant, to a maximum of five participants.
