The Universal Group is actively recruiting for Traffic Control Persons (TCP's) and Lane Control Technicians (LCT) within the PG and Quesnel areas. The role does require employees to have a valid BCCSA TCP ticket. We do also ask that candidates have a valid drivers license (7N or 5). Although we do not financially assist candidates currently in getting their TCP ticket, once they receive their ticket, I can on-board them to our company, should they pass our screening. For the... most part, candidates do pass our screening and are on-boarded to our company. We do offer competitive union wages, benefits, signing and referral bonuses. We also have a well developed mentorship/training program aimed at developing our TCP's into LCT's. Once they successfully pass our LCT training program, they get their own truck and gas card. They may use the truck to go to work and go home but are not permitted to use it for personal use due to insurance reasons. We also give them a $100 bonus for passing the LCT training and they also receive a $3 to $5 increase in their wage.
