JETS Employment Program is currently taking applications! JETS is a paid, 7-week pre-employment program for people ages 15 to 30. Participants are paid minimum wage during the 7 week classroom component, assisted with obtaining employment in an area of their choosing (with ongoing support), and can access on-the-job support on as-needed basis. WorkLink is offering eight youth between the ages of 15-30 an opportunity to join one of two industry specific cohorts. There will be six weeks of online and/or classroom work (depending on the stream you choose). You will get paid $14.60 per hour to gain skills and certification to work in Childcare or as a Traffic Control Person (TCP/Flagger).
