The Bee House Sunflowers are popular, as lots of people are concerned about our Bee population! The rain has offered me extra time for the opportunity to catch up on some orders.

Another special request for a blocking board. I built this from walnut with maple dowels.

It’s been a Butterfly day.

I get lots of inspiration and recommendations from my neighbour’s and customers about what they like and don’t like about my crafts. I love and appreciate the wonderful and sometimes emotional stories people have about a flower or dragonfly and how they can have significant symbolisms of remembrance for someone special in their life. Today I made a new flower design based on one of those conversations. This customer wanted a sunflower in remembrance of her Mom as she loved them. But she said mine were way to big. So this is the new smaller sunflower (top right beside big bertha) and in contrast to the first flower I ever made this design size (and cedar quality) is considerably smaller.

Built these smaller sized cedar garden boxes requested by a customer.

A picture of one of my butterflies came back to me. I love making these although it takes awhile. Maybe have time this spring for a few more, there always popular.

I love spring! It’s a time of awakening and renewal. A time to get our hands dirty digging in the dirt and plant seeds to grow. To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow! Garden boxes, I can custom build a size and options to compliment your special garden space to make it your own.

Spring is finally here and its time again for cedar garden boxes. This design is 5 ft long, 2 feet wide and the box is 16 inches deep. The main frame of the box is made from cedar 4x4’s that are mortise and tenoned into the corner posts for extra strength. The cedar flower comes with the box (dragonfly sold separately) This design sells for $475.
