SaskPower crews have restored power in the Moosomin, Wapella, Rocanville, Fleming, & Whitewood areas. The problem was in equipment at the Red Jacket substation. The outage was reported to SaskPower at 7:25 am. and repaired at 11 am. The damage to SaskPower’s equipment may have been caused by wildlife.

There have been 164 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Saskatchewan Wednesday, November 25, and 79 recoveries. There are now 3,012 active cases in the province, 111 in hospital, and 19 in intensive care. There are 15 active cases in South East 2, including the Moosomin, Rocanville, Whitewood and Kipling areas. There are 22 active cases in Central East 5, including the Esterhazy and Melville areas. There have been nine additional deaths from Covid-19 in Manitoba on Wednesday, November 25, and 349 new cases. There are now 8,758 active cases in Manitoba, 303 in hospital and 50 in intensive care. There are currently 6,294 active cases in the Winnipeg region, 1,174 active cases in the Southern Health Region, 551 cases in the Interlake Eastern Health Region, 443 in the Northern Health Region, and 296 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region, which includes Brandon and all of southwest Manitoba. In the Souris River District with Prairie Mountain, which includes the Elkhorn, Virden, Reston, and Melita areas, there are currently 29 active cases.
