It’s Fire Friday! Every Friday we will share important information & fire safety tips from White Rock Fire Rescue. Did you know cooking is the #1 cause of home fires & home fire injuries? Fire Prevention Week is almost here and the theme for 2020 is safety in the kitchen.

Today some of our members had the honour of donating to Sources Community Resource Centres. We had raised money at our 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament and our Annual Boot Drive. They are graciously donating $1 from every sleeve and $2.50 from every tasting board to the @whiterockfirefighterscharity and @wrfrauxillary joint donation to B.C. Children’s Hospital Music Therapy Program. Or come in and purchase a ticket for our pub night fundraiser tonight beginning at 7pm, $30 gets a sleeve and an open taco bar put on by @sheilascatering. White Rock Firefighters Pub Nite & Children’s Hospital Day at W.R.B.B. Join us on Saturday, February 15th in raising money for the Children’s Hospital Music Therapy Program. ... We will be hosting a small pub nite from 7pm 10pm. Tickets are $30 and include a beer, and open taco bar courtesy of Sheila’s Catering. There will be a 50/50 draw, and a door prize raffle. All proceeds go to the cause. White Rock Beach Beer has also been gracious enough to put forth $1 from every beer and $2.50 from every tasting board sold that day all day! Tickets are limited, available at White Rock Beach Beer or from a WRFR career or auxiliary member. For the 4th year in a row members from the @whiterockfirefighterscharity @wrfrauxillary and @vancouverfirefighters will be taking on @cfoxvan in a hockey grudge match for the ages.... local artist @turtona has been nice enough to put up this original 34x34 canvas oil painting called The Pier for silent auction at @wrbeachbeer. All proceeds above and beyond the $300 reserve will be put forth to our contribution to B.C. Children’s Hospital Music Therapy program.
