The second weekly playlist of our Black History Month series features music that speaks to the state of our environment. It is an amplification of the love we have for our planet and our fight to take action against forces that threaten its beauty; climate change, the pollution of our air and our oceans, global warming, and so forth. These voices convey a hope for a more sustainable world. Head over to our Spotify to listen. #curatedbypsychology https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6pMH12Vp8iG0GxcIdDl37I

This is a story about vulnerability, family, and mental health. Last October, the WRG crew was sent to the Côte-Nord up on the coast of Québec. Our aim was to capture the experiences of men who faced loss in all forms - prostate cancer, homelessness, depression - and came out stronger. The Hommes Atout project was born from the realization of the lack of real specialized help for older men in the region. Funded by Movember, it launched as an initiative to bring men in need to...gether, and served as a community outlet to help them open up, heal, and build together, coude à coude. This director’s cut shares the complete story. The faces, voices, and hidden gems along the way, and the breathtaking landscape of our province.
As creatives, we tell stories with recognition and acknowledgement of the historical roots that shaped the culture we engage in daily. In honour of Black History Month, we're sharing themed weekly playlists that highlight and celebrate black power, excellence, and artistry. Music binds, educates, and inspires. So we encourage you, wherever and whoever you are, to open your ears and listen to the stories of the trailblazers that came before us, the voices of the present, and the ones to come. Our first playlist of the series features songs of resistance to the racial, social and economic inequality of black people, hopeful transmissions, and anthems of empowerment. #curatedbypsychology https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6RGX1zI5cm7HIK1rlvGBkg
We bring events to your living rooms. Livestreaming is our new love language. Check out the livestream trivia night party we held for LSN last summer, link in bio.
