It’s back to school week!! Some of my students’ families have opted for virtual learning, others for homeschooling, and most, for in-classroom learning. Whichever of the 3 options they have chosen, I have a full roster of students and I am SO excited about the amazing 2020-21 curriculums I have created! They are hot off the press (or freshly uploaded in some cases) and ready to go!!! Can’t wait Lets get learning!

No matter if you plan to send your kids back to school, homeschool them, or try out virtual learning, I'm proud of all of you parents for making the best decisions for your families. I have been asked by 10+ parents this week alone what I think is the best decision for their child (my students) and truly I don't think that is something that anyone other than mom or dad can answer. We are all doing what we feel is best for our personal circumstance and I am so excited to be aiding in your child's learning along the way, no matter which path you choose. September will be a new normal for all of us but luckily we'll all get to navigate it together. Providing my students quality education, comfort, and confidence remains my top priority regardless of where their "classroom" will be.

Question to the parents of my summer students: What skill are you most hoping your student will sharpen and improve upon during our sessions this summer?

My JK-Grade 3 students are wrapping up their time and money units and I am going to miss the super fun piggy bank, interactive wallet, and musical clock games. They were a great addition to our Zoom classroom! Next up for these kiddies, we will start our summer math session by going back to the basics. Skip counting and number grouping, which will prepare us with the skills we will need for multiplication. I'm downloading the games that will accompany these lessons right now!
