We are constantly building our website to further deliver on our mission to help writers connect with each other and their communities. Our next step is to develop our Writing Group section. In order to do so, we need 3 writing groups and 20 or so writers as beta testers. Do you and your writing group members want free Writer and Writing Group profiles on our website? Did you know that you can donate a magazine subscription to your local library? If you're considering subscribing to a magazine like Writer's Digest, Publisher's Weekly, Quill & Quire, etc., check with your local library to see if they have a subscription first. If they don't, donate a gift subscription and ask them to put a hold on it for you. Every time a new issue comes in, your library will put a hold on it and you'll get to be the first one to read it. After that, you c...an return it to the library for countless others to enjoy after you...instead of it sitting on the magazine rack in your bathroom for the next 10 years! This goes for non-literary magazines too, of course. Alternatively, if you can't afford to subscribe to any magazines, check if you library has access to it through RB Digital or in their own collection. If they don't, you can request that they subscribe and -- if it's in their budget and in-line with their strategic objectives -- they just might subscribe to it. #LibrariesAreEssential #LibrariesAreForEveryone
