Hey guys this is our new friend P.J. He is a friendly honest and sometimes mischievous young panda bear who lives in the jungle with all of his friends and family. P.J. likes to have fun just like we do. He likes to laugh, play and joke with his friends and most of all P.J. is a good bear. P.J. likes to tell the truth, be respectful, and treat everyone with love. Sometimes P.J. does silly things and that’s ok. We all do silly things sometimes. We know P.J. pretty well and we...'re sure that he would like to be friends with each and every one of you. So if you would like P.J. to be a part of your life, than maybe if you ask Mom, Dad or whoever it is in your life that loves you oh so much, maybe, just maybe they can help to make P.J. your friend too.. HAMILTON In light of the coming release of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF P.J. PANDA we at WRITTEN ROCK have decided to give some books away for the kids. So starting on May 31st the first 100 new members (joined May 16, 2020 or since) who post a piece of their very own (honour system) will automatically have their name added to the list for a free first edition signed copy of P.J.s very first book. There will be a limit of 1 book per person with entries starting May 31st. When Mike Keenan entered his 40s, he thought that his life was on cruise control. Married with two children, two cars and a house with a mortgage that was almost paid off, he enjoyed teaching and four successive terms of public office, which led to organizing the 1984 Niagara Regional Rally for soon-to-be-elected Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. However, when both parents died, their mortality provoked a mid-life crisis that forced him to re-examine his life and confront his pa...st. As an adolescent, for five formative years, he survived Regent Park, Toronto’s dangerous, inner city ghetto. He attended the University of Western Ontario, where he suffered from depression. Nevertheless, he played on the varsity football team and was voted to the Canadian Inter-collegiate All-Star Team. He was drafted and tried out with the Calgary Stampeders. To help deal with mid-life anxiety, he took up jogging. He reached a six-mile-a-day routine that flooded his brain with delightful endorphins. He composed poetry as he ran. However, a herniated disc in his vertebrae brought this therapeutic practice to a sudden end. Mike and his spouse traveled to Athens, Greece where another crisis dramatically changed his life. He awoke one morning unable to move his legs with numbness throughout his body, including both hands and arms. He had to re-learn how to walk. And later, like many aging men, he was afflicted with prostate cancer, yet another battle. Don’t Ever Quit, A Journal of Coping with Crisis & Nurturing Spirit is the story of how he dealt with each crisis and learned to cultivate spirit in the process.
