This is just to let you know that our fellow-alumnus David Swiderski has graciously offered to hold Zoom chats for alumni periodically to connect and socialize. This is a notice of some changes to your Alumni Executive Board. Terry Bray, who has served on the board in one capacity or another since 2006, has decided to step away from his duties as Treasurer. He would have done this at the reunion by not seeking re-election, but as it has been postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic, he has made this decision now. AS a result, the board has appointed Sara Feir as Treasurer and has made one of our appointed directors, Lisa McLeod, Se...cretary in Sara's place. Lisa has been our Membership Coordinator, and Terry will be taking over those duties, as well as assisting Sara with her new responsibilities. While Terry is not leaving the board as yet, we hope you will join us in thanking him for his exemplary service to the association and for his tireless work in helping to make the reunions happen during the past several years. He has provided much-needed continuity and perspective, and he will continue to be an invaluable resource going forward. The pandemic has put us into uncharted waters, and so we are trying to achieve both sustainability and stability with these changes. One thing will not change, however, and that is our dedication to the association and to our members. Thanks for being patient with us and for your ongoing encouragement and support!

Hello, Further to our earlier updates, this is to inform you that the OSB/WRMS Alumni Reunion originally scheduled for June of 2020 is now officially postponed indefinitely. This is due to the current policies in place at the school in response to the pandemic which prohibit any outside visitors and any large-scale gatherings. There is no end-date for these policies, but if anything changes, we will of course keep you posted. As we still plan to hold an in-person reunion whe...never it is possible to do so, we will of course honour any registrations received prior to the postponement, but if you'd rather have your money refunded, we can certainly do that for you. You can contact [email protected] for this. As usual, we will keep you posted as things evolve, and whenever we can hold the reunion safely, we'll all get together and have a great time. We want to extend our gratitude to you for your patience during these uncertain times, and we hope you'll still join us whenever we celebrate, however belatedly, a century of fun and fellowship!

Reunion Announcement Hello, On behalf of the board of the OSB/WRMS Alumni Association, I am writing to inform you of a change in our plans for this year's reunion. We will still be going ahead, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its effects, we have decided to postpone for a few months. We are aiming for sometime in the Fall, and will keep you posted as information becomes available.... Please be assured that if you have already paid, your money is safe with us and you will still be registered for the new date when it is determined. However, if you are unable to attend at that time, we will gladly refund your money. We understand that this is an uncertain time for everyone, and if you have any questions or concerns, we will be happy to answer them. We are all in this together!

Hello, On behalf of your 2020 Alumni board, I wanted to take a moment to update you in regards to the status of this year's reunion in light of the current Covid-19 event. We are still intending to hold the reunion as planned from June 19-21, 2020. We are, of course, monitoring the evolving situation, but whatever happens, we will keep you posted, as your health and safety is a top priority for us. Well, 2020 is now upon us and June is just a few months away, and that means it's more than time to get thinking about this year's OSB/WRMS Alumni Reunion: Celebrating a Century of Fun and Fellowship! It's taking place from Friday, June 19 till Sunday, June 21 at the school, and we've got lots of great things planned for our association's hundredth anniversary. Firstly, to register for the reunion, please send an email to [email protected], or follow the steps on our Pricing page at: https://www.wrmsalumni.org/pricing.htm. The cost for the weekend is $60.00 per person, and there are many ways to pay online and/or in advance. Secondly, we're planning what we're calling a Friday night Free-for-all with music, stories, jokes and perhaps even a competition or two. if you're interested in participating in this event, you can contact Sara Feir at [email protected]. Also, Sara will be happy to talk to you if you're interested in presenting one of our Saturday morning workshops. Finally, we're planning a marketplace and exhibit hall again for the afternoon of Saturday, June 20.
