Gore Bay Fitness Centre is a new 1 storey fitness facility, a slab on grade building of approximately 2,320 sq.ft, consisting of a fitness area, five (5) interior washrooms complete with shower and change facilities, one (1) of the washrooms/shower is barrier free. Exciting things are happening at W.S. Morgan! Rama First Nations on Rama Road in Orillia, is a 3 story office building that will be over 39, 000 sq. ft. The excavating and site preparation has been completed by Tower Excavating. Forming and rebar went into place and the concrete was poured by Rowland Concrete. The stairwell and elevator shaft can be seen in the drone images. Electrical and mechanical work has begun! M'Chigeeg First Nations is a 6,000 sq. ft. build in a remote location on Manitoulin Island, our project site supervisor Patrick Martin has driven this project forward with his dedication and commitment to the project. Jim Cunningham is the PM on this project keeping the schedule on track. The single story 6-plex project is currently 35% complete. Site preparation, grading, leveling, subgrade materials, have been completed including a large Ecoflo septic system complete with precast septic tank and pump chamber. The footings and cement was completed and walls went up. Big things are happening on site in Orillia for the new Lighthouse Community Services hub. Pictured below is the concrete pour of the footings and elevator pit slab for the Building Hope Support Building that’s now underway. Approx 45 m3 of concrete was poured in total. After 25 years of competing around the world, José Martinez became a Master 7th degree black belt and most recently, brought the Taekwondo International Championship to Dominican Republic so local students could experience an International Competition, while allowing José to give back to his home country and the sport that fueled his passion. During the ceremony, José was recognized by the CHITF with a medal and Certificate of Recognition from Senior Grand Master Phan Lu for his outstanding Taekwondo service and devotion above and beyond the call of duty. Congratulations José! We are very proud to have José as a part of our WSM team and delighted to have sponsored the 2019 International Taekwondo Championships in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic by supplying Gold, Silver and Bronze competition medals.
