#TimeInTheWord March 24, 2020 The Triumph of Trust... But I will trust in thee. Psa 55:23 It is one thing to boast of faith when all things are great and wonderful. But it is an entirely different matter when one can walk in the triumph of trust while things are desperate all about. The Psalmist here is a man whose prayers are not being answered; indeed, it would seem to him that his voice is not even being heard in heaven at all. And it’s not like he’s asking for vain things. No, quite the contrary; for all hell has broke loose and he’s fighting for his life! The terrors of death are fallen upon me, he says, Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me! It’s a bad day. Furthermore, he is painfully aware of his own powerlessness in the situation; he doesn’t even have the ability to run away and hide somewhere. He would gladly scamper if he could, but even that is beyond his supply. He is captive in a Philistine prison. He’s stuck in a bad deal, and it’s only getting worse. A friend, a dear friend; a treasured friend has betrayed him cruelly. A man who worshipped with him in the presence of the Lord, a man whose friendship he had never doubted and on whose loyalty he had staked his life this man had proven to be false and broke David’s singing heart. And in this downward spiral of sorrow he cried to God above and nothing. No answer at all. Nada. Zippo. Zilch. Yep, it’s a bad day; a real bad day. Anybody would understand if at this moment David had decided to call it quits on God; after all, people do it all the time. C’mon David, they would say, join the rest of us who are done with childish things like faith and prayers, Bible verses and silly love longs. Welcome to the real world! But David was cut from another stock than that, and now in this darkening moment a single ray of light still remained it was the light of trust. He refused to regard God’s silence as indifference, or to consider God’s inactivity as impotence. No, instead, he triumphed in trust. Heaven might be brass today, and God withdrawn and silent, but I will trust in Thee, he said. Winds may be howling and demons may be growling, and all things lovely to behold may be blown away, but I will trust in Thee. My heart is faint, my hopes are dim, and my power is gone, but I will trust in Thee. And though friends have fallen and turned to foes, and none can give solace to my deeper wounds, nevertheless I will trust in Thee. We know now that David’s trust in the Lord paid off huge, for history holds him forth as one of the greatest of Israel’s kings. And the Church holds him dear as one of God’s great champions. Who knows but that a similar destiny awaits you on the other side of this ordeal? Stay the course, my friend, and stand in the triumph of trust!

God, You said in your word not to give place to the devil. You told me to resist the devil and he would flee from me. Since sickness is of the devil, when I res...ist sickness and disease, I am resisting Satan. When I resist sickness it has no choice but to leave. Whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven. You told me that life and death are in the power of my tongue and that if I would tell the mountain to be removed and would not doubt in my heart, I could have whatever I said. I can talk to anything that the devil puts on me and it will disappear. I can curse any affliction (as Jesus cursed the fig tree) and it will die and disappear. Therefore, I refuse to give sickness any place in me. Sickness (name the specific sickness), I RESIST you. Get OUT of my body! Sickness, I BIND you and command you to stop manifesting yourself in my body. You are loosed from your assignment against me. I speak to you sickness (name the specific sickness) in Jesus name Amen

Doubt, I RESIST you. I refuse to doubt. Fear, I RESIST you. I REFUSE to fear! When the devil comes with his lies and tries to get me to doubt my healing, I say, It is written...By Jesus’ stripes I am healed. The devil is a liar and God’s Word is the Truth. I chose to believe God’s Word. I stand on God’s Word. I will speak Your Word every day - morning, noon and night - regardless of feelings or symptoms. It makes no difference whether I feel anything or not. The Word of God is true regardless of what I feel or don’t feel or what the devil, people or symptoms may say. My faith is based on what God has said. God said, I am healed. I am a believer and not a doubter. I walk by faith and not by sight. I stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief. I consider not contradictory thoughts, circumstances or symptoms. I am strong in faith and I praise God for healing my body. I am fully persuaded that what God has promised He is able also to perform. In the ALL Powerful name of Jesus Amen and Amen.

Study in cont'd. Study John A John 1:1-16 A GOD OF PREPARATION... God is a God of preparation. Study about this in the following references: -God prepared the heavens, His own abode; His throne and His Kingdom: Psalms 103:19; Proverbs 8:27 -He prepared this world for mankind: Genesis l-3 -God can prepare and use anything for His purposes. In the book of Jonah alone, God prepared and used a fish, a gourd, and a worm: Jonah 1-4 -God prepared Jesus to be sacrificed for the sins of all mankind: Hebrews 5:10; Zephaniah 1:7 -Before Jesus came to minister, a man named John was sent to prepare the way before Him: Luke 1:76; 3:4 -God has prepared a beautiful eternal city for us to live in throughout eternity: Hebrews 11:16 -He has prepared a Kingdom of which we will be part: Matthew 25:34 -Jesus said He went to prepare a place for us: John 14:2-3 -We are told that eye has not seen and ear not heard what God has prepared for those who know and love Him: I Corinthians 2:9 -God has prepared judgment for the unbelievers: Proverbs 19:29 -Hell has been prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41 -God is looking for a people prepared as a bride is prepared for her husband: Revelation 21:2 From the following references you will see that, throughout the Biblical record, God used prepared people to do His work: -By faith, Noah prepared an ark: Hebrews 11:7 -Joseph, prepared by trial and affliction, saved the nations from famine: Genesis 41 -Moses, prepared by God on the backside of the desert, led an entire nation through the wilderness: Book of Exodus -Esther prepared a banquet and saved an entire race of people: Esther 7 -Gideon prepared an army. David prepared for the building of the temple, even in the time of his trouble and affliction. Solomon prepared a temple, and Nehemiah prepared a wall. -John the Baptist made ready a people prepared for the Lord: Luke 1:17 -In Judges and Chronicles there is an extensive record of many leaders who failed and did evil because they did not prepare their hearts properly before the Lord. (II Chronicles 12:14 is one example). God uses prepared people. Because of this, we are commanded to be prepared: -Prepare to meet thy God: Amos 4:12 -Prepare your hearts unto the Lord: I Samuel 7:3 -Have a prepared heart: II Chronicles 19:3 -Prepare your heart to seek the Lord: II Chronicles 27:6 -Be prepared yourself, and prepare others: Ezekiel 38:7 -Be prepared for every good work, ready for the Master's use: II Timothy 2:21 -Be a vessel prepared for His glory: Romans 9:23 Why is God so concerned with preparation? Why does He use and anoint prepared people? What are we prepared for? A GOD OF PURPOSE All of God's preparations have been focused on His purpose. It is not a vague purpose or a "hoped for" purpose. He is working for a specific, settled purpose. The purpose of God is clearly communicated in His Word. Perhaps one of the best summaries of His purpose is given in the book of Ephesians. Here is God's "statement of purpose": According to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord... Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself; That in the dispensation of the fullness of times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in Heaven, and which are on earth, even in Him. (Ephesians 3:11;1:9-10) God wants to bring all men into right spiritual relationship with Himself: The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9) What can we learn from this lesson? 1. God is a God of preparation. 2. He works through prepared people. 3. He is not looking for unorganized, unmotivated, unmobilized, defeated believers. 4. He is looking for men and women who are prepared. Jesus told a parable about a servant who knew the Lord's will but did not prepare himself to fulfill it: And that servant, which knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes. (Luke 12:47)

Day 6 of 21 Days Of Apostolic Prayers Acts 16:9 During the night, Paul had a vision of someone from Macedonia who was standing there and begging him, Come over... to Macedonia and help us! 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we began looking for a way to go to Macedonia. We were sure that God had called us to preach the good news there. Father I thank you for raising an Apostolic people in this season. A people that know there God and do great exploits. I decree that great encounters shall begin to come upon your people in the coming days like never before. That the eyes of there understanding be opened and so revelation and insight would begin to fall upon them as carriers of a great grace. Just as in the days of Paul Father you shall release us into a season of extreme night visions and and encounters. Night visions containing assignments and instructions. Visions of direction, confirmation and affirmation. Night encounters with Angels and divine messengers from Heaven. There shall be a greater realm of assurance coming upon your people as we advance the Kingdom agenda. Father i decree that just as in the days of Paul that our assignments would first be made known to us rather than being birthed out by the personal desires and agendas in the hearts of men. You will impregnate and birth assignments out of us that know man can conjure up. This is the season of night visions and encounters. Be it unto us in a tangible way in the mighty name of Jesus!!!!
