On this Canadian Armed Forces Day we want to reinforce how thankful we are for all serving and retired CAF members and their families. We remember those we have lost, we support those who are injured, and we salute those serving at home and abroad during these difficult times.

76 years ago today some 14,000 Canadians secured Juno Beach as part of the largest seaborne invasion in history. Total Allied casualties on D-Day reached more than 10,000, including 1,074 Canadians. We will remember them.

Six years ago today we lost RCMP Cst. David Ross, Cst. Fabrice Gevaudan and Cst. Douglas Larche in the shooting in Moncton, New Brunswick. We remember their ser...vice and sacrifice to keep others safe and extend our thoughts and prayers to their families and everyone affected that tragic day. See more

Today we are pleased to announce the creation of the Warrior Kids Virtual Program. The program is designed to support children whose parent is affected by an op...erational stress injury, such as PTSD. We know that many overnight camps have been cancelled this summer and we're happy that we'll be able to support kids who have experienced the secondary affects of trauma. The WWC PSB supports children whose parent is a Veteran or First Responder affected by Operational Stress Injuries. The bursary provides $5,000 (maximum) per full course year.
