The symptoms of sciatica can be divided into three types. First, there will be pain from the small toe of the foot to the outside of the lower leg. This is due to an abnormality from the fifth lumbar spine to the sacrum.... Second, there is an abnormality between the 4th lumbar spine and the 5th lumbar spine from the ankle of the foot to the anterolateral aspect of the calf. Third, the back side of the lower leg feels numb and painful, which is caused by abnormalities between the third lumbar spine and the fourth lumbar spine. Sciatica does not occur without reason. It is caused by injuries or other diseases such as myelitis, diabetes, anemia, ovarian tumors, uterine and peripheral inflammation, bladder diseases, epidemics, flashbacks, colds, overwork, acne, recurrent constipation, and alcoholism all cause sciatica. In particular, intervertebral cartilage between the vertebrae - sprains or bulges in the intervertebral discs - will compress or block the nerve roots, causing sciatica.
