Thank you to ICE (Irma, Chauvin and Edgerton) committee for including the Battle River Lodge in their Christmas lights Community contest. We enjoyed every minute of the tours. Kudos to the communities for their beautiful show of lights and the Christmas spirit

A couple weeks ago, I invited the community to send positive, uplifting Christmas messages to our residents here at the Battle River Lodge. The response has been amazing! Thank you so much! As promised, I wrote them out onto paper ornaments and hung them onto our gratitude trees over 100 people responded. We are overwhelmed with the kindness, generosity, and loving messages from the community, the kids at the MFRC, Blessed Sacrament grade one class and our little neighbors who dropped off cards and pictures. Merry Christmas and many blessings to everyone!

We had a door decorating contest! The doors and hallways look fantastic so our judges had a hard time picking the 1st, 2nd and third place winners. We ended up with 2 honorable mentions as well A huge shoutout to everyone who participated.

We have been having fun decorating in the Lodge. Here are a few pictures of our creative seniors making their own polymesh wreaths for the front doors of their homes
