Learn about us~

Jen Maxwell was born to a musical family that loves a good old fashioned jam session. Some of her earliest memories include singing with her sisters in the car on long family trips. She sang in her high school jazz choir and loved working with other musicians early on. Though she studied History and French at University of the Fraser Valley, Jen kept music in her life for the last 10 years through the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra; singing in the Chorus, the Show Choir, Belle... Voci, and now the Starlets. A highlight for her has been recently singing the arrangement of Til it happens to you at the Spring 2016 Concert. Jen teaches Humanities and French Immersion at WJ Mouat Secondary in Abbotsford, and when she isn’t working or singing she is out at the park with her dog and her husband Bryan. Jen believes that music is meant to be shared, and she is happy to jam some Beatles or Neil Young tunes with you anytime. See more
