For the next three weeks, to get us in the right mood, I we'll be having a "Dance Party" where I'll play sets of various genres or periods of dance music. This week (week 2/3) I have sets of: 60's - 80's Country, 60's & 80's Soul & R&B, Reggae from the 60's & 70's, and a set of 70's Disco.... The following week, I'll have sets of music from: 80's New Wave & Electronic, 90's Chill & Electronic, and 2000's Club/Dub/Progressive. I hope you tune in. Peace!

Good evening Folks, Tonight's show is a Rockin' Christmas show featuring all (?) of your favourite Classic Rock Artists, such as: John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Queen, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, The Beatles, Jethro Tull, Canned Heat, Eric Clapton and sooo many more! I hope you tune in and enjoy and have a wonderful holiday season.... Peace!

Season's Greeting Folks! It's that time of year again ... winter :( Actually I love winter, but does it have to last 6 months? Anyhow, I digress, Monday night's show celebrates the festive season with sets of music celebrating Hanukkah, Festivus & Yule (yes people celebrate Festivus ;) ), Kwanzaa, and a worldbeat celebration of Christmas.... My last set commemorates the Christmas Truce in WWI of 1914. All started by a German soldier singing "Stille Nacht" or "Silent Night". Joined in by his fellow soldiers in German and then by the English side (in of course, English). Both sides then met in "No Man's Land" and shared treats, cigarettes, libation, and photos from home. They even played a game of football (soccer) where once again the English lost! (I'm a German Football fan) lol This was recorded by an English soldier, so I'm not making it up.
