WCC player FM Eugene Hua was invited to be one of the master playing simul at MCC Christmas party simul event on Dec 4, 2019. He played around 15-20 games and ended up winning all the games except for two draws. Congratulations for a great performance playing against mostly expert level MCC players

Due to the worsening winter storm, Chess Club is cancelled this evening (November 11). Join us next Monday for the first round of the WCC/MCC Challenge.

WCC player FM Eugene Hua was the best performer for Team Canada at the U-16 Olympiad, Turkey with 5.5 points out of 8. He gained almost 30 ELO points in the process. We are so proud of you Congrats to Team Canada overall and especially in beating arch rival USA ( higher rank than Canada ) in the last round by 2.5-1.5. Cheers to Chess in Canada
