This time of year we are always preparing for our annual Ukrainian Wedding Fundraiser. Here is a throwback to our Greece meets Ukraine themed wedding. What an amazing night that was.

September 30th is Orange Shirt Day, a time to remember the victims of the residential school system and educate people on the ongoing impact of this system. Around 150,000 First Nation, Métis and Inuit children were forced from their homes and taken away from their families. They were subject to horrific abuse......thousands died. We remember and honour you.

Big shout-out to all the dance schools and dance companies who have started back up this fall! You are doing an amazing job and your students are so lucky. Things may be a little different this year, but dance can get us through it. Much love to everyone. Stay safe.

Excited to be a part of this great event!

In 2001, Yevshan had the opportunity to perform in New York and we had the most memorable experience. We were in awe of all the magnificent things to see and take in. Only a few months later the terrorist attacks occurred. On this day we remember those who lost their lives and those who showed so much courage and bravery trying to save others.

We are sad to announce that our 60th anniversary show and banquet has been postponed until 2021. With the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have made the decision to move this momentous occasion to a different date. We are loving the nice hot weather here in Saskatchewan and wish we could be cooling off in the sea in Ukraine, but for now this sailor dance will have to do the trick! Ukrainian Dance World
