Happy Birthday to my beautiful and insanely talented cousin Samantha McKee In 2020 I convinced Sam to come build WYDS with me. She had just graduated from... high school and had a million decisions to make. She already had a keen eye and natural talent for media with a tireless ambition to create. I told her I would teach her everything I knew about media and business, expose her to a new network, but more importantly, we would grow together. As garbage as 2020 was in many ways, Sam made it so much better in every other way. She pushes me to be a better teacher, to be a better student, to have a bigger heart, and to always remember to take care of myself. She gives so much to her family and friends. She has endless creativity for her art and inspires me to be more every single day. Happy Birthday, my love. I can't wait to see what we create this year. Spoken Without Words & WYDS

This has been a tough year for the world and so many of us have suffered losses. Some have lost loved ones, many are struggling with mental health, and others are struggling to survive financially. Businesses especially those in the hospitality industry are dying. The artist, entertainment, and hospitality industry have been so deeply affected by COVID-19 that it's hard to imagine a recovery. With that said, WYDS mission is to help support artists, businesses, and entreprene...urs in Toronto. We are offering media and marketing support and services for all who need it. We recently started a WYDS Community group on Facebook and over the next coming months, we will provide resources and networking opportunities for all who participate. This will be an opportunity for you to connect with others in your industry, you can ask questions, post jobs, or offer support to your peers in the group. We believe that now more than ever it's important to come together as a community (in an online environment) to support each other. Remember, you are not alone. We are in this storm together.
