We are putting together a Summer/Fall Leisure Guide for the community - a one-stop guide to leisure activities in Wynyard! Included will be information about town facilities, programs and events. If you have a sport, culture, recreation, community or leisure event or program that you would like listed in the guide, please send information and photos to [email protected] or comment on this post. Deadline to submit this information is Wednesday, February 24th to... be included in the guide. This guide will be mailed out to every household in Wynyard, will be available at participating businesses and will be available online. I realize that we cannot predict which events/programs will be allowed to run this summer and fall, but we will put this guide together with a notation regarding potential cancelations and changes caused by COVID restrictions.

We have snow shoes available for community use! Pick-up today to use on Monday. Phone the Rec Office at 554-3661 to reserve. *The Wynyard Town Office will be closed Monday for Family Day.

Free fishing weekend starts Saturday, February 13, and runs through Family Day on February 15. No fishing licences are required (excluding national parks). Regu...lations and limits still apply. See saskatchewan.ca/fishing for more information. Always remember to check ice thickness before venturing on ice and make sure your shelter is properly vented.
