Your business is *not* your product or your service, but rather how you make people FEEL. This is something I learned during my years working for and running a door to door sales company and I have carried it throughout the years because it is so true! When you are brainstorming about ads to run, do not just consider the product or service you are trying to get people to buy, but use a story to sell it to them so that they can feel it for themselves.

Oftentimes you will have competition, unless you have created a whole new category for yourself - and even if you did, you need to prove why you category is necessary compared to the usual choices! Anytime I sit down with a new client, the first step is always discussing their Brand as well as who they consider their competition. From there I go home and do my own research before presenting my findings to my new clients.
