Yet another CRS Draw on Aug 20, 2020: CRS cut off 454 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is conducting category specific draws. This one is a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specific draw and 3300 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued during this draw. The CRS score cut-off came out to be 454 points in this specific round of ITA. Only candidates who qualify and meet the definition of CEC were issued Invitations to submit a complete application for Permanent Residence during this round of ITA. Another CRS Draw Today: CRS cut off 445 After inviting the FSW and FST candidates on 8 July, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is back to Program specific draws. Yesterday we saw Provincial Nominee Class invitations and today it is for Canadian Experience Class (CEC). 3343 invitations to apply (ITAs) have been issued with this draw. The CRS score cut-off came out to be 445 points in this specific round of ITA. Last CEC draw was held on 25 June where the ...cut off was much lower at 431. Only CEC candidates have been issued Invitations to submit a complete application for Permanent Residence during this round of ITA. Finally a CRS Draw for Federal Skilled Workers: CRS cut off 478 The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a No Program Specified CRS draw today, meaning that the Federal Skilled Workers and Federal Skilled Trades Workers were also included in the draw. A total of 3900 invitations to apply (ITAs) have been issued with this draw. The CRS score cut-off came out to be 478 points which is much higher than what was there in the CEC specific draws. The FSW and FSTW have been included in the CRS draw after four months, the last such draw was held on March 04, 2020. COVID-19 update: IRCC resuming processing of online applications for visitor visas and eTAs, but travel restrictions remain As of July 1, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will once again process online applications for visitor visas (including transit visas) and electronic travel authorizations (eTAs), to the extent possible. However, due to current travel restrictions, applicants should keep in mind that, even if they apply and get a visitor visa or ...eTA, most people will not be able to travel to Canada at this time. IRCC also continues to process study permit and work permit applications submitted online and permanent residence applications, to the extent possible.
