If you know me you've probably heard how incredibly lucky I feel to be apart of such a strong community of small business owners and artisans. These are the people that help make Squamish such a fantastic and interesting small town. Breweries, distilleries, high end tea, top class restaurants; not many small towns have the luxury of such a diverse range of businesses. Big thanks to Adventure Squamish for shinning some light on this incredibly hard working group of people. I admire you all very much!

These beautiful Autumn bars are back on the shelf today! Caramelized pecan, dried apricots, dried blueberry all packed onto a 70% Fleur de Cao dark bar... My favorite wine night or hiking snack!

Earlier this month, our customers allowed us to close Xoco's doors for a few days so I could set off on a little adventure with my brother, Jeffrey. Jeff's been helping me in the kitchen for the summer while home from law school, and although you may not have met him, you've tasted what he makes. I'll say without hesitation that if his calling wasn't across the country studying law, he could be a truly talented pastry chef. His calm and detailed approach to work is inspiring.... His practical and calm approach to life has been much appreciated, when I get too excited or frantic, he is a good anchor to have around. Jeff leaves for the east coast in just over a week. This will probably be the last week he helps in the store, and next year he'll be working in the field he is passionate for. I might not get much time with him in these next few years. So I can't thank you enough for allowing me to leave for a few days and get some time with him. We were up Garibaldi Lake area for a stunning few days (despite the rain). It was an amazing trip that I will remember my entire life. If you are in the store in the next week, make sure to say "Hi" and "Good Luck" to our favorite Pastry Chef/Lawyer. Jeffrey, from your younger but bigger brother, Thank you, I love you, and Good luck!
