COVID update Jan 21, 2021 Hello everyone, we hope you are all staying safe during this time. In response to the rise of COVID-19 cases, a declaration of emergency was made on January 12, 2021 for all of Ontario. ... Although schools are being reopened in our area on Monday January 25th, the declaration of emergency is still in affect. This unfortunately means we will not be able to reopen the gymnastics club as hoped. At this time we have not been given a firm end date to the restrictions. The enhanced public health and workplace safety measures are in effect for all of Ontario and are anticipated to be in place until at least Thursday, February 11, 2021. We will have to push back the start date of our Winter session until the province starts to open again. Jan 2021 update: Hello everyone, Due to the 28-day lockdown imposed by the government of Ontario, we regret to inform you that the Winter session at Heels Over Head Xperience Gymnastics will not be able to start as planned. The lockdown is due to end January 22, 2021. We will plan to start our Winter session Saturday January 23rd, 2021 and the following week as the first week of classes. Dear Heels Over Head Xperience Gymnastics Members, Based on Doug Fords announcements last week outlining the phased reopening of businesses in Ontario, and the forecast we have received from Gymnastics Ontario, we are sad to say we will not be able to host a Spring session. The phasing in process puts our club in phase 3 of the plan and means we are anywhere from 6 12 weeks from reopening. Those registered for the Spring session will receive a full refund for their Spring... session registration. This will however take a few weeks to process fully due to banking limitations. We appreciate your patience and assure you will process your refund as quickly as possible. We are hopeful at this point that the phased program will go smoothly, and we will be able to start some limited phasing in of programming in July. This may be further pushed back if process is taken to the longest estimates, in which case we will be looking at an August restart. We are currently working hard to plan and implement safety procedures to ensure your son or daughters return to the gym, when you feel ready to join us, will be as controlled and safe as possible. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces in the gym again! In lieu of being at the gym we have partnered with Gymnastics Ontario and an online resource to give you some home programming to keep your young ones entertained. Spring session update #2 April 1, 2020 Dear Heels Over Head Xperience Gymnastics Members, It is with sincere regret that this pandemic will be affecting us longer than originally estimated. The spread of this virus has escalated in the two weeks since our last correspondence and reached the Renfrew county. This has caused a huge upset in all our lives, affecting almost every aspect of our regular schedules and we feel for each and every one of membership families and the ...rest of our communities. On a personal note we are dealing well. Our gym is closed, but we hope you had a chance to enjoy the videos sent out to you by our friends at Fundy Gymnastics in New Brunswick. As the social distancing recommendations remain in effect for the present time, we hope to offer some further home programming in partnership with Gymnastics Ontario in the interim. Details to follow soon. Two weeks ago, we hoped to start a 12-week Spring session on April 6th to align with the school closures. Now that they have been further delayed and plan for a May 4th return, we will plan for similar timing allowing for an 8-week session taking us to the end of June. We are hoping for the best. At this time, we will not do an automatic refund for those registered in the Spring session, however we understand that some of you may be in a similar tough situation as we are. We would like to accommodate everyone as much as we can and will be happy to refund your payment for the Spring session and open up your spot (please email your request to [email protected]). If you are comfortable keeping your spot in the session with the plan to open on May 4th, we are happy to continue to hold your spot and compensate you for the difference in session fees at that time. Should we need to make further changes to our schedule moving forward we will assess our options at that time. Please rest assured that all fees paid for the Spring session will be compensated and none of our members will incur a loss of fees that have been paid for the Spring session. Dear Heels Over Head Xperience Gymnastics Members, Given the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to suspend all recreation and competitive programming until April 6th, 2020 to align with the school closure and recommendations given by Gymnastics Ontario. During that time, we will continue to assess the situation and make further changes if needed. We will be looking to condense the Spring session to a 12-week session instead of the plan...ned 14-week session. We will be looking to compensate the families already registered appropriately but will refrain from doing so until it becomes clear that no further alterations are needed. All Field trips, group bookings and birthday parties are being are being cancelled, to be rescheduled at a future date and a credit will be places on your account in the amount of the deposit you have paid. Xperience staff will contact you in the coming weeks regarding a new booking date. As of this afternoon, there is no indication that any relief will be able to cover us for this closure. This will put a financial burden on our company and on our family. We understand that this and many other measures being put into place to control the spread of COVID 19 are also putting financial burdens on you and your families. We are all in this together.
