For the past nine years, on the second Saturday in May (World Bellydance Day), teams of belly dancers around the world dance a Shimmy Mob, a belly dance flash mob held annualy in support of victims of abuse worldwide. This is a fun event, held for a good cause. Feel good about yourself by helping others. We need dancers, dance teachers, dance schools, sponsors and volunteers. Make a difference; sign up now!

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE PART OF SHIMMY MOB? Each dancer that participates in the Shimmy Mob performance MUST be registered through www.shimmymob.com and order the Shimmy Mob t-shirt. When you complete your registration, you gain access to the choreography instruction and breakdown. You will need to learn the dance, attend rehearsals as scheduled by your Team Leader and then perform on the Shimmy Mob designated event date.

ANNOUNCING SASKATOON'S 2017 SHIMMY MOB EVENT: WHAT IS SHIMMY MOB: Our goal is to give back to the community. We sponsor women's and children's shelters in various local areas by promoting and furthering their causes.
