COVID-19 School Closure Update The health and safety of our students, parents, staff, and teachers continue to be a first priority to us. As the concerns grow over COVID-19, Yamaha Music School Markham is following the lead of the provincial government to close the School for two more weeks after March break. The School will be closed after lessons finish on Monday March 16 and will remain closed until noon on Monday April 6 pending further notification. Please check our website or our phone reception message (416-224-5590) for more updates in the future.

TOY MOUNTAIN IS BACK!! Join us on December 17 as The Remington Group and Downtown Markham hosts the CTV Toy Mountain campaign at the Pride of Canada Carousel, 8...080 Birchmount Road! Bring along a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toy Mountain and enjoy free carousel rides, skating and music from local school bands! BeaverTails will be graciously giving away pastries to the first 200 attendees and Longos will on hand with chips and hot milk chocolate! The event runs from 5-8pm, and will be broadcast live on CTVs News at Six between 6-7 pm. Organizations from throughout the Markham will present toys and financial donations, and Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti will also be in attendance. 2019 marks the 24th anniversary of Toy Mountain, benefitting the Salvation Army. In 2018, Toy Mountain provided 152,766 toys to GTA children who otherwise would go without presents at Christmastime.
