Dear Patients, As you may know, dentists in Alberta have been guided to allow patient care again. We are so excited to see our patients!! We have been working hard to make some changes that allow for a safe environment for both our staff and patients while we live with SARS-Cov-2. Here are some of the changes that we have made: - We are putting in a glass shield to allow minimal aerosol exposure at the check-in/check-out desk... - Patients are asked to sterilize their hands upon entering the office - We are all wearing the recommended PPE (sometimes looking like Darth Vader) - All patients will be asked to rinse with 1% hydrogen peroxide prior to treatment - Patients may be asked to wait in their car and get a call to come in for their appointment - We have a ventilation unit that we place in treatment rooms after procedures - We have sadly had to put away the train table which was loved by our paediatric patients - All hard surfaces will be cleaned after contact, including the visa/debit machine - Staff are diligently washing hands, going above and beyond the usual precautions and sanitizing peroxide prior to any exam or treatment We will be asking screening questions prior to appointment as well. Please be patient with us as we go through out list of patients that we had to cancel during the pandemic. If you would like to schedule an appointment feel free to give us a call!
