It sure has been a hot summer! Heres a yummy recipe for a post workout treat Posted @withregram @runottawa Looking for something to help cool you down post-run? Try this refreshing Pia Colada Popsicle recipe from our friends at @officialfarmboy! ... Ingredients: Whole cored pineapple Farm Boy Organic Coconut Milk Lime juice Simple syrup made by dissolving equal parts of sugar into water over heat. Pro tip: if you have made popsicles before that get crystally or grainy maybe its the sugar element youve included. Liquid sweeteners freeze more smoothly than just adding sugar to a mixture. Simple syrup is a good way to combat this! Method: Cut pineapple into chunks. Blend together pineapple and coconut milk until very smooth. Add lime juice and simple syrup to taste. Add water if necessary to thin out the mixture so it is pourable. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze at least 6 hours. Find more popsicle recipes at runottawa.ca/ro!
